–Apply online: Foreigners need to apply for a Medical Visa online on the Indian government’s website (https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/index.html). They need to fill out the application form and submit it online along with the necessary documents.
–Documents required: The following documents are required for a Medical Visa application:
- Passport with a minimum validity of 6 months
- Recent passport size photograph
- Letter from a recognized hospital in India indicating the medical condition, estimated duration of treatment, and the name of the doctor who will be treating the patient
- Medical documents including reports, prescriptions, and test results
- Proof of financial means to cover the medical expenses
- Proof of residential address in the home country
